About ‘Welcome to Plathville’
“Welcome to Plathville” follows Kim and Barry Plath and their nine children, who were raised on strict conservative values. The large family lives on a farm in Cairo, Georgia. Throughout the past six seasons, TLC has followed the Plaths as they have gone through major life changes, from shocking divorces to budding romances.
“Welcome to Plathville” Season 7 catches up with the Plath kids as they pursue romantic relationships. Lydia introduces her boyfriend, Zac, and reveals that they’re saving their first kiss for their wedding day. After splitting up from Olivia, Ethan has gone on several dates and has hit it off with someone special. It’s not all smooth sailing, as Ethan is forced to sit down with Olivia to set a boundary. Things are rocky between Micah and Veronica, and it may be enough to drive them apart.
Over the past couple of seasons, Kim and Barry have opened up about their split and their impending divorce. However, they’re at a standstill. Barry hints at a huge fight to come as Kim tries to push forward so she can get a fresh start. Amid all of the family drama, Moriah is distancing herself so she can focus on herself and her own goals. As with past seasons, there are more surprises waiting around the corner.
Welcome to Plathville
The nine flaxen-haired children in the Plath family have never had a soda, don’t know who Spiderman or Tom Brady is and have never watched TV, living remotely in rural Georgia with their “follow their own rules” parents Kim and Barry Plath.
