About ‘Wynonna Earp: Vengeance’
When last we left our heroes, Wynonna and Doc were leaving Purgatory following Waverly and Officer Haught’s wedding. Now the couple is being pulled back to the Homestead to save their loved ones from another foe who wants some sort of revenge on Wynonna. Undoubtedly, Peacemaker will come in handy when she is back in the Ghost River Triangle.
Details have been scarce about “Wynonna Earp: Vengeance,” but we do know that the principal cast is all back, including Melanie Scrofano as Wynonna, Dominique Provost-Chalkley as her younger sister Waverly, Tim Rozon as Doc Holliday, Katherine Barrell as Officer Nicole Haught, and Varun Saranga as Jeremy Chetri. Playing the troublemaker out to end the Earp heir is Yana Gold as Sheree.
The 90-minute special was written by series creator Emily Andras and directed by Paolo Barzman who helmed 21 of the series’ 49 episodes. “Wynonna Earp” is based on the Image Comics’ title of the same name by Beau Smith. The comic’s creator teamed with Scrofano, Rozon, and Chris Evenhuis on a new book in 2017 called “Wynonna Earp Legends.”
What Else Can You Watch on Tubi After ‘Wynonna Earp: Vengeance’?
After you have finished watching the new film extension of the Wynonna Earp franchise, there are tons of other films and series for you to stream on Tubi that will scratch similar itches. If you want to learn more about the real-life Doc Holliday — not to be confused with the “Wynonna Earp” version who was cursed with eternal health by the Stone Witch — you can check out the eponymous film “Doc Holliday.” If you want to stick with the real-life, Wild West figures, there is also Tubi original “Calamity Jane,” which stars “Wynonna Earp’s” Doc Holliday Tim Rozon.
If you are more interested in exploring the sci-fi, comicbook lanes, Tubi has plenty of options for that as well. The free streamer provides access to the series “Van Helsing” which similarly puts a new spin on classic characters. If you want something with a more modern focus, you can stream all three seasons of “Batwoman” on the service as well. Wynonna Earp herself, Melanie Scrofano, also co-stars in the underappreciated horror comedy “Ready or Not,” which is available to stream on Tubi as well.
The one thing that you won’t be able to stream on Tubi is the original “Wynonna Earp” series. However, all four seasons of the show can be streamed via Netflix.
