“Young Woman and the Sea” stars Daisy Ridley as the storied swimmer Trudy Ederle, who was born to immigrant parents in New York City in 1905. Through the unyielding support of her older sister and incredible trainers, she overcame adversity and the pushback of a male-dominated society to rise through the ranks of the Olympic swimming team and complete the staggering achievement – a 21-mile journey from France to England.

The film’s ensemble cast includes Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Stephen Graham, Kim Bodnia, Christopher Eccleston, and Glenn Fleshler. The movie will serve as an incredible inspiration to anyone facing a daunting task, especially young athletes who need an extra boost of confidence to meet their goals.
