Live TV Streaming Holiday Deals
DIRECTV STREAM
DIRECTV STREAM is our favorite live TV streaming service because of the excellent balance of content it offers. It comes with the most major cable channels of any service, with local channels for watching your hometown holiday parade, channels like TCM for watching your favorite classic Christmas movies, and much more.
This service normally starts at $79.99 per month, but for a limited time new users can take $25 off their first two months of service on the Entertainment, Choice and Ultimate plans. That gives users the freedom to pick the exact channel plan they need and start streaming!
Choose $15 OFF each month for the first 2 months of Entertainment with Sports Pack or $20 OFF each month for the first 3 months of Choice or Ultimate.
Sling TV
With plans starting at $40 per month normally, Sling TV is already a fantastic bargain. But it’s offering two deals for new subscribers currently that make streaming during the holidays with Sling an even better value.
First, new customers can take 50% off their first month of service no matter which plan they choose. Users can pick Sling Orange or Blue for $20 for the first month, or combine the two plans together in Sling Orange and Blue for $27.50.
Sling’s second deal gives users $10 off their first month, plus a free Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite. That will not only bring new customers a brand-new way to stream live TV, but a new device to stream it with!
Limited Time: Get 50% OFF Your First Month of Sling TV
Fubo
If you want to spend your holiday season streaming the end of the NFL regular season, the College Football Playoff and NBA and NHL games, Fubo might be the perfect streamer for you. It carries local channels such as CBS and Fox, national sports networks such as ESPN and FS1, and includes a free trial for all new customers.
It’s also got a special holiday offer of $20 off per month for your first two months no matter which plan you choose. That will bring the base price of your Fubo subscription to as little as $54.99 per month without fees, and two months will be more than enough time to stream the rest of the NFL season and most of the playoffs, the CFP, college basketball and much more.
Get Your First Month of Fubo for Only $74.99 (normally $95) after your Free Trial.
Philo
Philo starts at just $25 per month, and while it doesn’t include local channels or sports networks, it has some of the most-desired cable channels available. It’s an especially great service to have during the holidays, as it allows users to stream Hallmark Channel, Great American Family and Lifetime, which all stream nonstop Christmas content this time of year.
Users can enter promo code DeckTheHallmark23 when signing up for Philo to bring their first month of service down from $25 to $12.50. Click here to sign up for Philo and use the promo code to get 50% off your first month!
Subscription Streaming Holiday Deals
STARZ
Everyone knows STARZ is the only place to stream series like “Outlander,” “Power Book IV: Force” and other originals. But did you know you can stream top blockbusters like “John Wick: Chapter IV” and even Christmas classics like “Home Alone” on the service, too?
Normally, STARZ runs $10 per month, but for a limited time new customers can sign up for just $3 per month for three months, a savings of 70%. That means you can watch STARZ for the next 90 days for less than one normal month of the service would cost.
Free Trials
In addition to the holiday deals listed above, there are some streaming platforms offering free trials that will allow you to sample their content for up to a month before having to pay for a subscription!
Hulu carries holiday favorites like “Elf,” “The Polar Express” and more, alongside originals like “The Bear” and licensed titles like “Abbott Elementary.” It allows new customers to stream free for 30 days, at which point it runs $7.99 per month to stream with ads, or $17.99 to go ad-free.
Prime Video also offers a 30-day free trial, so you can make your holiday complete with included movies like “Christmas with the Kranks,” “Miracle on 34th Street” and “Surviving Christmas.” There’s plenty more to watch on Prime Video too, and you can explore it for a full month with the service’s free trial.
Bundles and Annual Discounts
There are a few more ways to save on your next streaming service this holiday season!
First, check out the Disney Bundle if you want to package Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ together for big savings. Users can sign up for several iterations of the Disney Bundle, from Duo Basic —ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu only — for $9.99 per month ($15.98 if purchased separately) to Trio Bundle Premium, which includes ad-free Disney+ and Hulu alongside ad-supported ESPN+ for $24.99 per month ($42.97 purchased separately).
Peacock doesn’t offer a bundle, but it does allow users who sign up for annual plans to save 17% off the regular monthly payment. Ad-supported Peacock Premium is $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year ($11.98 off), while Peacock Premium Plus removes the ads and incorporates a livestream of your local NBC station for $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year ($22.98 off). Peacock is especially great during the holidays, because both plans have a livestream of the Hallmark Channel available.
Paramount+ is the same price as Peacock, and it too allows users to save if they go for annual plans over monthly subscriptions. Paramount+ Essential is its ad-supported tier ($5.99 per month or $59.99 per year), and Paramount+ with Showtime ($11.99 per month or $119.99 per year) ditches the ads, brings on a livestream of your CBS station and gives you access to live and on-demand content from Showtime as well.
