High-speed home internet doesn’t have to be complicated or tied to a long installation process. MINTernet, Mint Mobile’s 5G home internet service delivers fast Wi-Fi straight through a simple gateway device. You plug it in, power it on, and connect your devices. No digging, no waiting for a technician, and no surprise fees. It’s built to handle streaming, gaming, video calls, and heavy household use without the usual headaches — or the stress on your wallet.

Streaming video and music rely on speed and consistency. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, YouTube, and Spotify all require reliable connections to maintain smooth video and crisp audio. MINTernet uses T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network to make this possible. Download speeds typically range from 133 to 415 Mbps, while upload speeds range from 12 to 55 Mbps. That’s more than enough bandwidth to stream HD video, enjoy 4K shows, participate in video calls, or play online games on multiple devices at the same time.

How MINTernet works

MINTernet uses a 5G gateway that connects to nearby cell towers and broadcasts Wi-Fi throughout your home. Setup is quick and easy. You pick the location, plug in the gateway, turn it on, and connect your devices. Streaming starts almost immediately, without the need for scheduling an installation or dealing with complicated setup steps.

Plans are available in three, six, or 12-month terms, with 3-month and 12-month plans priced at $40 per month and 6-month plans at $45 per month. If you already have a Mint Mobile phone plan, you can save $10 per month on your MINTernet plan. Service automatically renews at the end of each prepaid term; however, you can cancel or change plans at any time without incurring penalties.

Unlimited data keeps streaming going

One of the biggest advantages of MINTernet is unlimited data. Streaming HD or 4K shows, listening to music, or watching live content doesn’t eat into your data allowance. You can binge a full season, stream a few movies, and keep everyone in the household online without worrying about overage charges. Speeds may dip slightly if many devices are online simultaneously or during peak hours, but for most households, MINTernet provides consistent performance for high-bandwidth activities.

Tips for smooth streaming

Where you place your gateway device can make a noticeable difference in WiFi performance. Putting it in a central spot in your home helps the signal reach all your rooms more evenly. MINTernet also works with mesh routers, allowing you to boost coverage in larger spaces or tricky corners. Streaming over WiFi instead of mobile data keeps videos, games, and video calls running smoothly and helps smart home devices stay connected without hiccups.

Bundling with Mint Mobile

MINTernet works perfectly on its own, but pairing it with a Mint Mobile phone plan lowers your monthly cost. The $10 discount applies automatically if you buy both together, or you can call Mint Mobile to link an existing phone plan. Canceling the phone plan does not affect your internet service; it just returns the rate to the standard price. Bundling can make high-speed streaming, gaming sessions, and video calls more budget-friendly without tying you to multiple services.

The setup is designed to adapt to your lifestyle, allowing you to adjust your streaming habits as needed. It makes experimenting with high-speed video, gaming, and other online activities simple and stress-free.

Why MINTernet works for streaming

MINTernet makes streaming easy and hassle-free. You can binge HD and 4K shows, stream music, play online games, or jump on video calls across multiple devices at the same time.
