All of the Info for ‘Agatha All Along’:
What is ‘Agatha All Along’ About?
“Agatha All Along” will follow the continued adventures of the witch Agatha Harkness, who has been stripped of her powers by the Scarlett Witch. Assembling a new coven of other witches, Agatha decides to face the trials of the legendary Witches’ Road, which she hopes will restore her magical abilities.
How Does ‘WandaVision’ Connect to ‘Agatha All Along’?
Harkness was first introduced in the 2021 series”WandaVision.” Living in a small town in New Jersey, Harkness is overtaken by a powerful spell cast by Wanda Maximoff, which overpowers the other residents of the town and makes them forget their identities. Agatha retains her own memories, but plays along with the fantasy, taking on the character of “Agnes,” a helpful neighbor who has been meddling with Wanda’s life behind the scenes.
Harkness grows envious of Wanda’s abilities, and attempts to take her so-called “chaos magic” for herself. Wanda overpowers Agatha, casting a spell that prevents Harkness from using her abilities and trapping her in the “Agnes persona” before releasing the rest of the town and restoring their memories of their real lives.
It is also revealed that centuries before the events of “WandaVision,” Harkness was part of a coven of witches led by her mother Evanora. When it was discovered that Agatha was attempting to learn secrets of dark magic, her mother becomes determined to have her executed. Instead, Agatha drains the life forces of all the other witches, allowing her to continue living on and studying the secrets of the Darkhold.

Did ‘Agatha All Along’ Change Titles?
“Agatha All Along” has been teased to viewers under multiple different titles leading up to its release. The show has formerly been promoted as “Agatha: House of Harkness,” “Agatha: Coven of Chaos,” “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,” and “Agatha: The Lying Witch with the Great Wardrobe.”
At Disney’s upfront presentation this year, Disney revealed the actual title of the show as “Agatha All Along,” insisting the other names were part of a marketing campaign that saw the titular witch toying with the minds of fans. All of the previous title incarnations referenced different movies both in name and artwork. The ploy was inspired by how “WandaVision” moved through eras of TV riffing on the styles of very specific shows.
