How to Sign Up and Download ESPN Select on VIZIO Smart TV

Unfortunately, ESPN Select is not currently available natively using VIZIO Smart TV. ESPN Select may launch a native app for VIZIO Smart TV in the future, but for now you can only stream using Apple AirPlay (2016+ models) or Google Cast (2016+ models).

You can still sign up for ESPN Select and use it on other devices like Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV 4K, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, and Sony Smart TV.

Apple AirPlay

  1. Click here to sign up for ESPN Select.
  2. Install the ESPN Select iPhone/iPad app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your ESPN Select credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the ESPN Select app and select the AirPlay icon.
  6. Choose your VIZIO Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

If you have a compatible TV and you don’t see AirPlay as an option, make sure you update to the latest VIZIO Smart TV firmware.

Google Cast

  1. Click here to sign up for ESPN Select.
  2. Install the ESPN Select iPhone/iPad app or Android Phone/Tablet app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your ESPN Select credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android Phone/Tablet or iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the ESPN Select app and select the Google Cast icon.
  6. Choose your VIZIO Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

ESPN Select allows you to stream on up to 3 devices simultaneously.

Ads

ESPN+ will get no display ads and no pre-rolls ads in video content on the entire ESPN App and website. You will still see ads during natural advertising breaks.

Offline Downloads

ESPN Select allows you to download certain content for offline viewing.
