Everything You Need to Know About Full Moon Features B-Movie Streaming Service

What Is Full Moon Features?

Full Moon Features is a streaming service for fans of cult cinema, especially those who love so-bad-they’re-good B-movies, horror, sci-fi, and exploitation films. Launched as the successor to Full Moon Streaming, it offers a huge library of over 500 titles, curated from the catalog of Full Moon Pictures and other cult film archives. Charles Band, a veteran of the B-movie scene who produced classics like “Puppet Master” and “Ghoulies” founded Full Moon Features to blend horror, fantasy, and quirky sci-fi films in a way that appeals to fans of campy, low-budget fun.

Full Moon’s catalog also includes a selection of European cult horror films like “Zombie Flesh Eaters” and “Deep Red,” alongside grindhouse and retro erotica from the Surrender Cinema collection. Plus, Full Moon Features adds new content regularly and produces exclusive original features like the Deadly Ten anthology (more on that below).

Full Moon Features

Full Moon Features is an on-demand streaming service for B-movie fans. It’s 500+ titles of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and cult features.

B-movie veteran Charles Band was an innovator in the direct-to-video market back in the ’80s and ’90s, initially with his company called Empire Pictures, producing minor hits such as “Ghoulies” and the “Puppet Master” series. Most of his 300+ producer credits can be found in the Full Moon library.

The subscription costs is $6.99 / month, or you can save with $59.99 / year.

If you buy a one-year subscription, Full Moon Features will send you a code to redeem for free DVDs.

Does Full Mean Features Have Original Content?

Yes, Full Moon Features does have original content – and it’s weird and wonderful. Back in 2019, it launched the “Deadly Ten” project - a series of ten original films produced specifically and available only on the platform. To reward diehard fans for their support, the streamer gave them a behind-the-scenes peak at the making of these films with live streams during physical production. The first film from that series, “Weedjies! Halloweed Night” is directed by Danny Draven and blends comedy and horror in a ganja-filled take on Charles Band’s cult classic Ghoulies.

Another project in the Deadly Ten slate is “Necropolis: Legion,” directed by former Fangoria editor Chris Alexander. This gothic horror film is a companion piece to the 1986 cult classic “Necropolis,” bringing to life a surreal and bloody take to a demonic vampire witch.

More recently, Full Moon Features released “The Primevals - a long-anticipated sci-fi fantasy film that was originally developed by stop-motion animator David Allen. After decades of delays, the movie was finally completed and released on the platform. “Subspecies V: Blood Rise” also debuted last year as the latest entry in the long-running Subspecies franchise – one of Full Moon’s most loved vampire series.

How Much Does Full Moon Features Cost?

Full Moon Features costs $7 per month or $60 annually, with a seven-day free trial. It’s available on platforms like Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and mobile devices, and allows users to stream on up to three devices simultaneously. Full Moon also offers offline downloads, making it easy to watch on the go. We recommend adding Full Moon Features as a channel through Prime Video for maximum flexibility.

What Classic B-Movies Can You Watch on Full Moon Features?

One of the most popular films on Full Moon Features is “Puppet Master III” — considered one of the best of the “Puppet Master” series. This 1991 installment reveals the origins of the killer puppets in 1941 Berlin, where their creator, Andre Toulon, uses them to fight back against Nazis after the murder of his wife. The film balances horror, revenge, and a unique historical backdrop to make it a fan favorite.

Another strange-and-awesome flick is “The Gingerdead Man” (2005), a quirky horror-comedy featuring Gary Busey (because, why not?!) as a serial killer who’s resurrected as a homicidal gingerbread man. The absurd premise and Busey’s strange performance have earned it cult status, leading to multiple sequels and crossovers with other Full Moon franchises, including “Gingerdead Man vs. Evil Bong.” Here are some of the other top B-movies you’ll find on the platform:
