If ‘His & Hers’ is your kind of mystery thriller, watch these next
These binge-ready thrillers keep the suspicion, secrets, and relationship tension coming.
I love it when a mystery thriller drops all its episodes at once because it means I don’t have to wait to see what happens next. So it is with “His & Hers” on Netflix. The series follows an estranged couple pulled into the same murder investigation from opposite sides, each carrying their own version of the truth and plenty of reasons not to trust the other. If you’ve already ripped through it, I have good news: there are plenty of other shows that hit this same nerve. Suspicion. Secrets. Relationships under pressure. If that’s what hooked you, here are the next four mystery thriller shows I’d queue up next.
HIS & HERS
Two estranged spouses — one a detective, the other a news reporter — vie to solve a murder in which each believes the other is a prime suspect.
Loved ‘His & Hers’? Watch: ‘All Her Fault’

Tara and I ripped through this one in about a week on Peacock, it was that good. “All Her Fault” opens with a nightmare scenario: A mother goes to pick up her young son after a playdate and realizes he’s gone. The story follows her search for answers as suspicion spreads through her family and friends, from her husband to her business partner in a rapidly escalating mystery.
What makes this a great follow-up to “His & Hers” is how quickly trust starts to crack. Both shows are less interested in flashy twists (though there are a few big ones!) and more focused on how doubt poisons relationships. What really stuck with me is how unsafe everyone starts to feel once questions begin. Brothers fight. Spouses fight. Friends fight, until you’re left with a much smaller circle than when you started… watch it.
All Her Fault
In Chicago, Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.
Watch next: ‘The Beast in Me’

One of the newest shows on this list, “The Beast in Me” follows a successful author who moves into an elite neighborhood and begins to suspect that her influential new neighbor may be hiding something dark. The story leans heavily on observation, intuition, and the slow realization that someone nearby may not be who they claim to be.
If what you loved about “His & Hers” is how much tension comes from perception, this is the perfect next watch. You’re constantly questioning motives and wondering who’s controlling the narrative at any given moment. But where “The Beast in Me” differentiates itself is that it’s a new relationship built around strangers circling each other and quietly testing boundaries. It’s colder and more contained than “His & Hers” but just as entertaining.
The Beast in Me
A famous author is pulled into a twisted mind game with her rich, powerful new neighbor — who might be a murderer.
Watch next: ‘Run Away’

Like most of Harlan Coben’s books, “Run Away” wastes no time setting its hook: When a teenage girl disappears, her father launches into a search that pulls him into a dangerous murder mystery and forces a few long-buried family secrets into the open… yeah, sounds right up the mystery thriller alley.
Now, if what you really loved in “His & Hers” is the constant emotional pressure, this is a great follow-up. In both shows, the mystery matters because it threatens the people closest to the truth. Your anxiety goes up as the characters’ anxiety does, and “Run Away” moves at an even faster pace than “His & Hers,” so buckle up.
Run Away
A desperate father searching for his runaway daughter gets caught up in a murder case — and stumbles upon secrets which could destroy his family for good.
Wild card: ‘Lady in the Lake’

“Lady in the Lake” is a period mystery set in 1960s Baltimore. It follows a woman who reinvents herself as a journalist and becomes consumed by a missing-persons case that starts pulling apart the lives of everyone involved. What Tara and I really loved about this show was the mystery, yes, but also how the city and the era are so deeply woven into the story, shaping how information moves and who gets heard.
Like “His & Hers,” the mystery becomes personal and costly the deeper someone digs. But the big difference is style. The period setting adds distance and atmosphere, while “His & Hers” feels immediate and raw. This one is moodier and slower, but if what you loved was watching a mystery take over someone’s life, it absolutely belongs on your list.
Lady in the Lake
When the disappearance of a young girl grips the city of Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966, the lives of two women, Maddie Schwartz and Cleo Sherwood, converge on a fatal collision course.
