Max to begin importing a new selection of Turner Classic Movies in special hub
The TCM hub will feature a rotating selection of movies that will change throughout 2025.
The Golden Age of Hollywood may be long gone, but the good news is the films produced in the first half of the 20th century are still available to watch! Turner Classic Movies is well-known as a home for these channels, but many of them have been unavailable to stream on-demand — until now! Max has announced that it will soon be adding new films to its TCM hub throughout 2025.
Key Details
- New TCM titles will rotate onto the TCM hub on Max throughout the next year.
- Movies will be sorted into highly curated collections for easier fan access.
- Max recently renewed its deal with the Criterion Collection for even more classic films.
Turner Classic Movies already has a fantastic presence on Max, with a bespoke content hub packed with beloved old favorites. The expansion of the relationship between the two sides will see more TCM movies rotate onto Max throughout 2025.
The expansion starts this month, with movies like “National Velvet,” (1944) “Words and Music,” (1948), “Key Largo” (1948), and “Invisible Stripes” (1939). Even more of these incredible additions to the world of cinema will come to Max as the expansion continues.
“By bolstering TCM’s footprint on Max, we are giving fans another platform to experience what they’ve come to expect from TCM – an evolving roster of celebrated films featuring Hollywood legends,” said Michael Ouweleen, President of Turner Classic Movies.
“At Max, we pride ourselves on our strong dedication to a robust library of fan favorite and classic films,” said Royce Battleman, EVP, Content Acquisitions, Warner Bros. Discovery. “Our latest expansion of TCM titles brings in even more timeless stories and invites viewers to relish in iconic cinematic moments on the platform.”
Max has been busy ensuring it continues to be one of the premier streaming destinations for watching classic movies. The streamer recently extended its deal with the Criterion Collection, ensuring it will continue to offer those films for years to come.
