About A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

In ancient Rome, Pseudolus, a cunning slave yearning for freedom, hatches a scheme of epic proportions. To win his liberty, he vows to unite his young master, Hero, with the beautiful courtesan Philia, who resides in the house of Lycus. But their path to happiness is fraught with hilarious obstacles: mistaken identities, romantic rivals, and a series of increasingly absurd situations. Pseudolus must outwit a colorful cast of characters, including the neurotic Senex and the imposing Miles Gloriosus, to pull off his audacious plan, and claim his reward. His journey involves deceit, elaborate disguises, and non-stop antics.
