About Army of Shadows

Philippe Gerbier, a key figure in the French Resistance, is captured and imprisoned by the Nazis after being betrayed. He escapes, rejoining his comrades in Marseille and exacting revenge on the informant. However, this act of vengeance is merely a prelude to an ongoing, clandestine struggle against the occupying forces. The film plunges into a world of constant tension, suspicion, and moral compromise, where every decision carries immense weight and the line between right and wrong blurs in the fight for liberation. The weight of the choices they make leaves the viewer contemplating the cost of freedom.
