About Bread and Roses

Maya, a resourceful young immigrant, crosses the Mexican border and seeks refuge with her sister Rosa in Los Angeles. Rosa secures Maya a job as a janitor in a non-union cleaning company, where exploitation is rampant. Union organizer Sam Shapiro sees Maya's potential and recruits her into the Justice for Janitors campaign. While Maya is drawn to Sam and the cause, Rosa is hesitant, fearing the consequences for her family. The workers' fight for recognition gains momentum as they confront management's tactics of intimidation and division, setting the stage for a collision between those seeking justice and those protecting the status quo. The bond between Rosa and Maya is tested as they navigate the complexities of activism and survival.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.
