About Bullets Over Broadway

Young playwright David Shayne's dreams materialize when gangster Nick Valenti bankrolls his play, but strings are attached. Nick's utterly inept girlfriend, Olive, lands a pivotal role, much to David's dismay. He also contends with a food-obsessed leading man and a demanding diva seeking to rewrite her part. The real problem? Olive's bodyguard Cheech, a stone-cold hitman with an unexpected knack for playwriting, starts 'improving' David's script. David finds himself caught between his artistic vision, the whims of his dangerous benefactors, and the surprising genius lurking within a mobster, forcing him to decide if art is worth risking everything for.
