About Drop Dead Gorgeous

In the quaint town of Mount Rose, Minnesota, the annual beauty pageant becomes the center of a darkly comedic storm. A documentary crew captures all the drama, as former winner Gladys Leeman (Kirstie Alley) schemes to ensure her daughter, Becky (Denise Richards), takes home the crown. Accidents, sabotage, and even explosions plague the competition, but the authorities turn a blind eye due to the Leeman family's wealth and influence. Despite the chaos and danger, Amber Atkins (Kirsten Dunst), a determined and genuinely kind-hearted contestant, refuses to back down. She dreams of escaping her trailer park life and becoming a successful news anchor. With unwavering optimism and a whole lot of heart, Amber faces her ruthless rivals head-on in this hilarious and unpredictable battle for the title of Mount Rose American Teen Princess.
