The nightmare began in 2011 when Tegan's personal computer was hacked, granting an unknown assailant access to a wealth of private information. This intrusion was not merely a breach of privacy; it was the opening act in a meticulously orchestrated campaign of deception, manipulation, and emotional torment that would test the sisters' resilience and forever alter their perception of online security and the boundaries of fan devotion.
