About Foxcatcher

In the lead-up to the 1988 Seoul Olympics, wrestling champion brothers Mark and David Schultz find themselves drawn into the orbit of John E. du Pont, a wealthy and eccentric philanthropist with a deep interest in wrestling. Du Pont invites Mark to train at his state-of-the-art Foxcatcher Farm, offering him the resources and attention he craves. As Mark becomes increasingly entangled in du Pont's bizarre world, the dynamic between the brothers shifts, and a dangerous power struggle emerges. Du Pont's manipulative nature and unstable behavior create a volatile environment that threatens to consume everyone involved, leading to a tragic and unforeseen conclusion.

Cast and Characters

Bennett Miller directs Steve Carell in a transformative role as the unsettling John E. du Pont. Channing Tatum delivers a raw and emotionally vulnerable performance as Mark Schultz, while Mark Ruffalo portrays his older brother, David Schultz, with warmth and groundedness. Sienna Miller plays Nancy Schultz, David's supportive wife. Vanessa Redgrave makes a brief appearance as du Pont's disapproving mother. Anthony Michael Hall appears as Jack, Du Pont's assistant coach. These performances combined with Miller's direction create a complex and disturbing portrait of human relationships.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.

How to get started with ExpressVPN:

- Sign Up: Purchase an ExpressVPN subscription.
- Download: Install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
- Connect: Open the app and connect to a server in the U.S.
- Stream: Log in to your streaming service and enjoy watching your favorite shows securely!
