About Going My Way

Going My Way follows the story of the charismatic and youthful Father Chuck O'Malley. Prior to dedicating his life to the church, Father O'Malley had a vibrant past filled with sports, music, and romance. Upon his arrival at a struggling parish in New York City, Father O'Malley finds himself at odds with the elderly and traditional Father Fitzgibbon. O'Malley's modern approach, which includes using his musical talents to connect with a local group of troubled youths, presents a stark contrast to Fitzgibbon's established methods. As O'Malley strives to revitalize the parish and guide the young men, he must also find a way to bridge the gap with the conventional Father Fitzgibbon.
