About Horse Money

As the fervor of the Carnation Revolution ignites the urban landscape and young military leaders command the streets, a different kind of struggle unfolds in the periphery. Within the decaying structures and memory-laden corridors of Fontainhas, the community is preoccupied with a desperate search for Ventura. He has become a phantom figure, wandering through a metaphorical forest of his own fractured mind and historical trauma. While the nation celebrates a new political dawn, Ventura remains trapped in the labyrinthine shadows of his past experiences. The film captures this poignant disconnect between the grand movements of history and the intimate, often ignored suffering of those on the margins. You will follow a narrative that shifts between the concrete reality of a hospital and the ethereal woods of memory, highlighting the profound isolation of a man whose personal revolution has yet to arrive. This re-imagining of the historical moment prioritizes the internal landscape over the external spectacle, offering a deeply moving portrayal of displacement and the search for identity amidst the chaos of a changing world.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
