About I'm Still Here

Set in 1970s Rio de Janeiro under the iron fist of a dictatorial regime, I'm Still Here follows the agonizing ordeal of Eunice Paiva after her husband, former deputy Rubens Paiva, is forcibly taken from their home by soldiers. Rubens vanishes, swallowed by the state's machinery, leaving Eunice and her family in a desperate search for answers. For three decades, the truth remains elusive, buried beneath layers of political deception and fear. As the first glimmers of revelation begin to surface, Eunice confronts not only the ghosts of the past but also the cruel onset of Alzheimer's disease, threatening to erase her memories even as she fights to uncover the truth about her husband's fate.
