About Love in the Afternoon

Frederic, a successful partner in a Paris office, enjoys a comfortable bourgeois life with his wife Helene, who is expecting their second child. Though seemingly content, Frederic finds himself daydreaming about other women during his afternoons, but he never acts on these desires. His carefully constructed world is disrupted when Chloe, an acquaintance and former mistress of a friend, begins to visit his office. Their initially platonic meetings in the afternoons gradually intensify, leading Chloe to actively pursue Frederic. He is soon faced with a profound moral dilemma, caught between his commitment to his wife and the temptation of an affair. Frederic must confront his deepest desires and decide what truly matters most to him.
