About National Lampoon's European Vacation

The Griswolds, fresh off a game show victory, are heading to Europe! Their grand tour includes England, France, Germany, and Italy, but their attempts at cultural immersion are constantly thwarted by their own American sensibilities and a generous helping of bad luck. They struggle with foreign languages, inadvertently offend locals, and leave a trail of destruction in their wake. This vacation becomes a comedy of errors, proving that sometimes the best memories are made from the worst experiences. Clark's unwavering optimism clashes spectacularly with the realities of European travel, creating a hilarious contrast that defines the film's charm. Prepare for a chaotic, unforgettable trip with the Griswolds as they attempt to conquer Europe, one mishap at a time.
