About Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid

In a rapidly changing New Mexico, Pat Garrett, once an outlaw himself, accepts a badge and a commission from wealthy cattle barons to hunt down his former comrade, Billy the Kid. Garrett is tasked with bringing the Kid to justice, a mission that forces him to confront his own past and the inevitable demise of the outlaw lifestyle they once shared. The pursuit becomes a haunting journey, blurring the lines between friendship and duty, loyalty and betrayal, in a West where legends are fading and the future is uncertain. The film presents a morally ambiguous landscape where choices are difficult, and consequences are dire. The narrative tension is high as two former friends find themselves on opposite sides of the law, forever altering the course of their lives and the history of the Wild West.
