About Peeping Tom

Mark Lewis, a loner working at a film studio by day, leads a double life. At night, he takes suggestive photographs of women, a practice that hints at a deeper darkness. More disturbingly, he is creating a documentary about fear itself, but his methods involve filming the terror of his victims as he murders them. His carefully constructed world begins to unravel when he befriends Helen, the young woman who lives in the apartment below his. He vaguely describes his movie project to her, drawing her unknowingly into his web of obsession and dread, blurring the lines between art and horrifying reality.

Many reviewers highlighted its unflinching exploration of voyeurism and its commentary on the ethics of filmmaking. Others appreciated the film's psychological depth and its ability to create a sense of unease that lingers long after the movie ends. They emphasized that Powell didn't set out to make an easy-to-watch movie, he set out to make a lasting statement.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.
