About Rope

In Alfred Hitchcock's Rope, two intellectually arrogant young men, Phillip and Brandon, commit what they believe is the perfect murder: the calculated killing of a former classmate. To further prove their superiority and the flawless execution of their crime, they host a dinner party in their apartment, the very location of the murder. The guest list includes the victim's father, his fiance, and their former prep school teacher, Rupert Cadell, a man whose philosophies may have inadvertently inspired the heinous act. As the evening unfolds, the tension escalates, fueled by subtle clues and veiled conversations, threatening to unravel their carefully constructed facade and expose the dark secret hidden within their seemingly sophisticated world. The entire film plays out in real-time, amplifying the suspense and creating a uniquely unnerving cinematic experience.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.
