About Surviving Christmas

Drew Latham, a wealthy and lonely executive, finds himself yearning for the Christmases of his past. Determined to recreate those memories, he returns to his childhood home, only to discover that it is now occupied by the Valco family. In a desperate attempt to manufacture the perfect holiday, Drew offers Tom Valco and his wife, Christine, a substantial amount of money to act as his parents for Christmas. However, Drew's demanding presence and eccentric requests quickly test the limits of the Valcos' patience. Adding to the tension, their daughter, Alicia, arrives, skeptical of Drew's motives and unimpressed by his attempts to buy his way into their family. As Christmas Day approaches, the makeshift family must navigate a series of increasingly absurd situations, ultimately questioning what it truly means to belong.
