About Tee Yai: Born to Be Bad

Set during the vibrant yet dangerous era of 1980s Bangkok this gripping crime saga follows a cunning and elusive thief who orchestrates a sequence of audacious robberies that leave the local police force in total disarray and the general public in awe. The legendary criminal operates with a level of sophistication and daring that defies capture transforming him into a folk hero of the streets while maintaining a shadow existence. However the stakes escalate when a dedicated and equally determined police officer decides to break protocol and launches a personal mission to dismantle the criminal network and bring the fugitive to justice. This high-stakes pursuit explores the thin line between law and lawlessness within a beautifully rendered historical setting where the chase is as much about ideology as it is about capture. The film perfectly captures the essence of a man pushed to the brink and the cop who will stop at nothing to end his reign.
