About The Big One

The Big One is a searing investigative documentary directed by Michael Moore. The film follows Moore across the United States as he probes the reasons behind large American corporations choosing to manufacture their goods overseas, where labor costs are significantly lower. This practice leaves countless Americans unemployed, despite their willingness to work for these very same companies, such as Nike. Through his signature blend of humor and pointed questioning, Moore confronts corporate executives and explores the human cost of prioritizing profit over the well-being of American workers. The documentary serves as a critical examination of globalization and its impact on the American workforce, challenging viewers to consider the ethical implications of corporate decisions in a globalized economy.
