About The Deer Hunter

Before Vietnam, they were just a group of friends from a Pennsylvania steel town, living simple lives filled with camaraderie and dreams. Steven's wedding to his pregnant girlfriend was meant to be a joyous occasion, shadowed only by Michael and Nick's unspoken rivalry for the affections of the same woman. But their decision to enlist shatters their idyllic existence. The brutal realities of war transform them into different men, scarred by the unimaginable horrors they witness. Returning home, they grapple with the psychological wounds of combat, struggling to reconcile their pre-war selves with the trauma they have endured. This film is a powerful examination of the enduring bonds of friendship, the devastating consequences of war, and the search for meaning in a world forever changed.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
