About The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie

In Luis Buuel's satiric masterpiece, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, a group of six upper-class friends repeatedly attempts to have dinner, only to be hilariously interrupted by a series of increasingly surreal and absurd events, blurring the line between reality and their vivid imaginations. Their bourgeois rituals are exposed as hollow and meaningless, creating a dreamlike narrative that satirizes societal norms and the hypocrisy of the elite. With unexpected interruptions, it is never clear if the next course will ever be served.
