About The Last Duel

In 14th-century France, a scandalous accusation ignites a bitter feud between Knight Jean de Carrouges and his former friend, the squire Jacques Le Gris. Marguerite de Carrouges, Jean's wife, accuses Jacques of a heinous crime, setting in motion a chain of events that culminates in a trial by combat. Unable to resolve the conflicting accounts through legal means, King Charles VI decrees a duel to the death. The outcome of this deadly contest will not only determine the fate of the accused but also the honor of Marguerite and the very fabric of medieval justice. This high-stakes battle for truth and retribution will test the courage, skill, and morality of all involved.
