About The Parenting

Young couple Rohan and Josh plan what they hope will be a harmonious weekend getaway to introduce their respective parents. However, the meeting of the minds proves more challenging than anticipated, especially when tensions rise between the traditional Sharon and Frank and the more unconventional Liddy and Cliff. As the family members try to navigate their differences, they soon discover their rental property is occupied by an unexpected guest: a 400-year-old poltergeist. What begins as awkward family introductions quickly descends into a chaotic battle against the supernatural, forcing everyone to confront not only their personal demons but also a very real, very mischievous spirit.

Cast and Characters

Directed by Craig Johnson, The Parenting boasts a stellar cast. Nik Dodani plays Rohan, one half of the central couple, navigating the complexities of introducing his partner to his parents. Brandon Flynn stars as Josh, Rohan's boyfriend, equally anxious about making a good impression. The veteran actors Brian Cox and Edie Falco embody Frank and Sharon, the more traditional and perhaps slightly judgmental parents. Lisa Kudrow and Dean Norris portray Liddy and Cliff, the more laid-back and eccentric parents, adding another layer of comedic tension to the mix. Each actor brings depth and nuance to their roles, elevating the film beyond a simple genre exercise.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.

How to get started with ExpressVPN:

- Sign Up: Purchase an ExpressVPN subscription.
