About The Shining

Jack Torrance, a struggling writer, takes a winter caretaker position at the remote Overlook Hotel in the Colorado Rockies, hoping for a fresh start and a chance to overcome his writer's block. He brings with him his wife, Wendy, and their young son, Danny, who possesses psychic abilities. As the family settles into their isolated existence, the hotel's dark history and supernatural forces begin to prey on Jack's sanity, transforming him into a violent and deranged figure. Danny's psychic visions reveal terrifying glimpses into the hotel's past, while Wendy becomes increasingly fearful of her husband's erratic behavior. Cut off from the outside world by heavy snow, the Torrance family finds themselves trapped in a nightmarish struggle for survival against the malevolent entities that reside within the Overlook. Is this only madness, or is something evil lurking in the hotel?

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.
