About Trouble in Paradise

Gaston Monescu, a suave thief, and Lily, his equally cunning pickpocket partner, find themselves entangled in a scheme involving the wealthy perfume executive Mariette Colet. Disguised as Monsieur Laval, Gaston infiltrates Mariette's inner circle as her personal secretary, intending to rob her blind. However, their carefully laid plans begin to unravel as Gaston unexpectedly falls for Mariette, forcing him to choose between his loyalty to Lily and his newfound love. This sets the stage for a delightful game of cat and mouse, filled with witty banter, surprising twists, and the ever-present question of whether love or money will ultimately prevail. The film explores the blurred lines between affection and deception, leaving you wondering who is truly playing whom.
