About Waltzes from Vienna

Set against the musical backdrop of Vienna, the story follows young Johann Strauss Jr. as he struggles against the rigid expectations of his father. While the elder Strauss insists on a future in the baking industry, the aspiring composer is driven by a melodic passion that cannot be silenced. This internal conflict is further complicated by a romantic tug of war between Resi, the charming daughter of a baker, and an influential Countess who recognizes his true genius. As these personal and professional worlds collide, Strauss finds the ultimate creative spark amidst the tension. His journey culminates in the birth of a masterpiece, the legendary Blue Danube waltz, marking his transition from a shadowed son to a global musical icon. This narrative explores the sacrifices required for artistic greatness and the power of inspiration found in unexpected places.
