Although it hasn’t been accompanied by any pomp or circumstance, Walmart has released a new streaming device. The Onn line of Walmart smart TVs and streaming players is growing this week, as customers can now head to the retailer’s website and grab the new Onn 4K Plus device now!

Key Details:

  • Decent price: The Onn 4K Plus retails for $30.
  • Google it!: The player is powered by the Google TV operating system.
  • Plenty of storage: The Onn 4K Plus comes with 16GB of internal storage for your streaming apps.

The Onn 4K Plus streaming device is available now from the Walmart website, as well as in stores. It costs $30, instantly making it one of the cheapest 4K-compatible streaming devices on the market. For comparison, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K normally costs $50, and the Roku Streaming Stick Plus 4K retails for $40.

The Google TV operating system is what makes the Onn 4K Plus go, which makes it easy to find and download your favorite streaming apps. As stipulated by Google, the device’s remote includes a Free TV button, so that customers can jump to the hundreds of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels embedded in the Google TV interface easily. The remote also includes shortcut buttons for YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and Paramount+.

Storage-wise, the Onn 4K Plus comes with 16GB of internal capacity, plus 2GB of RAM for faster browsing. It also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for high quality picture and sound, as well as Wi-Fi 6 for less lag. There are more than 10,000 apps available to download on the Onn 4K Plus, so you can be sure your streaming favorites are available. The device also comes with TV controls and a voice remote for easier browsing.

If you’re looking for a new streaming device that will allow you to watch all your favorites at a great price, the Walmart Onn 4K Plus could be exactly what you need. It’s got decent storage, offers good picture quality, and is easy to set up. Its interface is quite user-friendly since it’s a Google TV product, and you’ll be able to watch top apps on the device as long as you’ve got it.
