What Plan Options Does Paramount+ Have?

Paramount+ offers two different subscription plans, each of which you can sign up to pay for monthly or annually. The two plans are:

  • Paramount+ Essential: $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year ($12 savings)
  • Paramount+ with Showtime: $11.99 per month or $119.99 year ($24 savings)

The base Paramount+ Essentials plan offers access to over 40,000 different episodes and movies, live news from CBS, NFL on CBS, UEFA Champions League, and much more. The programming on this tier comes with limited ad interruptions.

Upgrading to the Paramount+ with Showtime plan removes the ads, except for commercials on live TV. It also adds access to the full Showtime library of movies and originals, plus the ability to watch your local CBS affiliate and download shows to your tablet or phone.

How to sign up for Paramount Plus

  1. Go to the Paramount+ website.
  2. Select the plan you want (and payment term).
  3. Click on “Continue With Free Trial” button.
  4. Create an account.
  5. Add payment information.
  6. Click “Start Paramount+” button.

That’s it, it’s that simple. Now, you can log into your new account from any compatible device and start streaming all of the great content from across the Paramount brands. Your account will automatically renew, so if you no longer wish to keep Paramount+, you’ll want to cancel before your renewal date.

Paramount Plus

Paramount+ is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 40,000+ TV show episodes from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and more. The lineup includes “1883,” “Tulsa King,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and “PAW Patrol.” Subscribers can watch the NFL, college football, The Masters, college basketball, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa, Serie A, and NWSL. The service also offers the option to watch your live CBS affiliate. The upgraded ad-free package includes premium movies and shows from Showtime.

Subscribers can choose between the Essential Plan (which includes ads) for $5.99/month, or go commercial-free and add more movies with Paramount+ with SHOWTIME for $11.99/month.

Subscribers to the more expensive plan will also get access to your local CBS affiliate to stream your local news, prime-time lineup, and late-night. You will also be able to download offline and watch select shows in 4K.

With the lower-cost “Essential” plan, you will still be able to watch live NFL games, Champions League, and national news – but you will no longer get your local CBS affiliate.

With their new app, enjoy advanced recommendations, curated homepages, and new content categories while still being able to stream major live sports like NFL, College Football, College Basketball. Sports fans will also appreciate the service’s inclusion of NFL on CBS, PGA Tour, along with every match of UEFA Champions League and Serie A.
