The renewal comes a year and a half after the streamer announced it would be bringing back the dark comedy spy series for a third and fourth season. Season 3 premiered in late November 2023 with the fourth season anticipated to premiere by the end of December 2024.

According to Apple TV+, Season 5 will be steeped in suspicion “when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, ‘London Rules’ should always apply.”

The ensemble cast of “Slow Horses” includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce.
