Paramount+ has quite a bit of content in its library, including scripted entertainment for viewers of all ages, original shows and movies, and even the SHOWTIME catalog for customers who are subscribed to the ad-free Paramount+ Premium tier.

The service also hosts a selection of live sports for all subscribers, including live NFL games, UFC events, and UEFA Champions League soccer. But what about local sports? Does Paramount+ provide that kind of coverage, or streams of regional sports networks (RSNs)? Find out what kind of local sports you can stream on Paramount+, and whether the service offers any RSNs below.

What to know about watching local sports or RSNs with Paramount+

Does Paramount+ have local sports

Paramount+ does indeed offer some local sports access to select customers. The streamer carries a live stream of CBS stations in all American markets in its Premium tier, which currently costs $14 per month or $140 per year. With the live stream, viewers will be able to watch any local sporting events appearing on their hometown CBS station.

That CBS access also unlocks a huge selection of college football games appearing on the channel, as well as contests from the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, golf coverage, and anything else you can watch on the channel in your market.

All Paramount+ subscribers can also watch a selection of NFL games on the service. Paramount+ carries NFL games appearing on the CBS station in your region; in other words, if the game is on CBS when you turn on your TV, you can also watch it live with a Paramount+ subscription.

Can you stream RSNs on Paramount+?

No, Paramount+ does not have any RSN availability. Its parent company, Paramount, does not have a single regional sports network on its list of assets, and it does not pay to offer streams of any other company’s RSNs on its platform either. There is no RSN access of any kind on Paramount+.

What other sports are on Paramount+?

In addition to NFL games, Paramount+ streams UFC events and an extensive lineup of global soccer games, including the UEFA Champions League, NWSL games, Serie A, and more. As noted, customers with the CBS live stream as part of the Paramount+ Premium plan get access to college football and basketball games, and PGA Tour coverage.

Where to stream RSNs and local sports

If you’d rather stream local sports from ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC, as well as RSNs all on the same streaming service, you’ll have to pick up a subscription to a live TV streaming service.
