Philo launches 14 new free streaming channels, expanding to 100+ total

The new selections include 11 channels from Warner Bros. Discovery, increasing the variety of channels available on Philo even further.

Philo has added 14 streaming channels, including 11 from Warner Bros. Discovery.

Philo is a handy live TV streaming service, one that comes with more options than it might seem at first glance. For $28 per month, the service delivers 18 of The Streamable’s top cable channels, but one of the hidden strengths of the service is the amount of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels viewers get alongside those cable networks. Philo is building that strength even more this week and has announced that it is welcoming 14 new FAST channels to its lineup.

Key Details:

  • Cooking channels, networks dedicated to sports like tennis and pickleball, and more are now available on Philo.
  • The channels are available to paid and free Philo customers.
  • Philo now offers more than 100 FAST channels in total.

Philo’s new streaming channel selection features selections in numerous genres. Eleven of the 14 new networks are sourced from Warner Bros. Discovery, and include programming like true crime, baking shows, and even live sports options.

The new channels now available on Philo include:

  • Crime Scenes: Shocking crime scenes, unsolved mysteries, and gripping investigations. Top shows include “Murder Chose Me,” “A Crime to Remember,” and “Murder Comes to Town.”

  • Family Unscripted: Real-life families take center stage with heartfelt and fascinating stories. Top shows include “Long Lost Family,” “The Little Couple,” and “My Five Wives.”

  • Ghosts Are Real: Dive into real-life tales of ghosts, goblins, and the paranormal. Top shows include “Ghost Brothers,” “Paranormal Lockdown,” and “Ghost Asylum.”

  • How To: Curiosity meets discovery with shows answering the world’s most intriguing questions. Top shows include “How It’s Made,” “How to Build Everything,” and “How the Earth Works.”

  • Love & Marriage: Heartwarming and dramatic wedding stories you’ll love. Top shows include “Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta,” “Four Weddings,” and “A Wedding Story.”

  • Motor Trend FAST TV: A go-to channel for automotive enthusiasts, featuring nonstop car content.

  • Mysterious Worlds: Explore untold stories of unsolved mysteries and the unknown. Top shows include “Mysteries at the Museum,” “Mysteries at the Monument,” and “Off Limits.”

  • Paws & Claws: For animal lovers, this channel delivers the best shows featuring pets and wildlife. Top shows include “My Cat from Hell,” and “Dogs 101.”

  • Sweet Escapes: Cake, baking competitions, and sweet treats galore. Top shows include “Cake Boss,” “Extreme Cake Makers,” and “Cake Wars.”

  • Welcome Home: Find inspiration with the best in real estate and home design. Top shows include “Caribbean Life,” “Buying Hawaii,” and “Bahamas Life.”

  • T2: Enjoy free live tennis like never before, featuring matches from professional tours, team competitions, and original content.

  • PBTV (Pickleballtv): Pickleball fans can catch live matches, expert tips, and lifestyle content from top stars like Ben Johns and Anna Leigh Waters.

  • World Poker Tour (WPT): Step into the world of high-stakes poker with live tournament episodes, exclusive cash games, and more.

These selections will be available to all paid Philo subscribers, as well as viewers who watch only free streaming channels with the service. The streamer made a big selection of free streaming channels available to all audiences in May, and now that count has risen to over 100 FAST channels. The new additions announced this week will expand that programming even further.
