Plex is launching more than 30 FAST channels owned by NBCUniversal.

Although Plex is much more than just a way to watch free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels, its FAST platform is nevertheless a robust one. There are hundreds of free streaming channels available to watch on Plex with no credit card required, and that inventory is getting a little bigger this week with the addition of programming options from NBCUniversal.

Key Details:

  • A total of 31 NBCU FAST channels are rolling out on Plex.
  • Selections include NBC Sports channels, entertainment networks, and news offerings.
  • Eight Spanish-language channels from Telemundo are also joining Plex.

There are 31 NBCUniversal-owned FAST channels coming to Plex as of Thursday. Viewers will be able to enjoy episodes from across the “Real Housewives” franchise, hilarious and historic sketches from the “Saturday Night Live” archives, and much more, and it’s all completely free to stream.

Entertainment channels from NBCU now available on Plex include: Bravo Real Housewives Vault, E! Keeping up With, Bravo Vault, SNL Vault, Oxygen True Crime Archives, Million Dollar Listing Vault, and Top Chef Vault. Many of these networks are single-show offerings, but some offer episodes from multiple series.

On the sports side of things, Plex is adding NBC Sports Now, with personalities like Dan Patrick, Mike Florio, Dan Le Batard, and others providing the latest updates and breaking news from the sports world. GolfPass, with lessons from the game’s best teachers, original series, news and more, is also joining Plex.

Turning to news, Plex is bringing on the Dateline 24/7 channel, as well as American Crimes. It is also importing NBC News channels from multiple states, including:

  • NBC 4 New York
  • NBC 4 Los Angeles
  • NBC 5 Chicago
  • NBC 10 Philadelphia
  • NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
  • NBC 10 Boston
  • NBC Bay Area News
  • NBC South Florida News
  • NBC San Diego News
  • NBC Connecticut News
  • NBC LX Home

Finally, Plex is rolling out Spanish-language programming from Telemundo. These options include Telemundo Al Día, Telemundo Acción, Telemundo Romance, Noticias Telemundo Ahora, Telemundo Noticias California, Telemundo Noticias Texas, Telemundo Noticias Florida, and Telemundo Noticias Noreste.

“We’re proud to partner with NBCUniversal to bring their wide variety of hit channels and shows to Plex,” said Shawn Eldridge, executive at Plex. “For English and Spanish audiences watching sports, news, and entertainment, our users now have much to enjoy.”
