Sling TV does allow viewers to remove shows and movies from their Continue Watching sections.

Sling also carries a variety of on-demand content, and that can lead to Continue Watching ribbons getting a little overstuffed with content. What you need to know about clearing the Continue Watching row on Sling TV

How to remove shows and movies from Continue Watching on Sling TV via web

This is the easiest and most precise way to clear your Continue Watching row while using Sling TV. To do so, scroll to the beginning of the ribbon, and then click Manage to see your full viewing history.

Once you’re in the Manage History section, you have a couple of options. You can click Clear All to wipe the slate clean and start over, or hover your cursor over an individual show or movie tile and click the X that appears in the top right corner. When the confirmation window pops up, confirm that you want to delete the item in question.

How to remove shows or movies from Continue Watching on Sling TV via mobile app

If you’d like to use the Sling TV mobile app to clear your Continue Watching section, you can do so. However, you won’t be able to remove titles individually from the section; this function is reserved for web browser.

When using the mobile app, scroll all the way to the end of the Continue Watching section to see the blue X button. Clicking it will delete all shows and movies found in the Continue Watching row, so make sure you really want to purge all those titles before clicking the button.

Can you hide recommendations you haven’t watched from Sling TV’s home page?

Some streamers will allow you to hide a show or movie from your recommended content rows using a dislike button. Sling TV does not offer this function, but you can always skip over that title in your browsing if you don’t want to give it a try.
