Paramount+ offers a few different ways to remove a show or movie from Keep Watching.

Paramount+ is a general entertainment streaming service, and that means you can find just about every kind of content on the service. From shows and movies that are decades old like “The Twilight Zone” to new originals like “1923,” the range of titles on Paramount+ is truly impressive.

That being the case, Paramount+ might have a title that viewers decide to try, but don’t intend to finish for whatever reason. With that in mind, we decided to see how easy Paramount+ makes it to remove a show or movie from its Keep Watching row — find out the results of that test below!

What you need to know about removing a show or movie from Keep Watching on Paramount+

How to remove a show or movie from Keep Watching on Paramount+ TV app

Most viewers are likely watching Paramount+ on the biggest screen in their home, and that’s the easiest way I found to remove a show or movie from Keep Watching on the streamer. From the home screen, scroll down to the Keep Watching carousel with your remote, then scroll to the title you want to remove.

Long-press the select button on your device, and a warning will pop up reminding you that removing that show will reset your watch progress. Click Remove to continue, or Cancel to keep that title in your Keep Watching section.

If you’re using a laptop or desktop to watch Paramount+, you can also remove a show or movie from your Keep Watching section, though it’s a bit trickier. First, you’ll want to find the My List tab at the top of the screen. When you click it, scroll down to see your Keep Watching titles and click the small Edit button on the top-right side of the row.

When you click Edit, you’ll see small circles appear in each show and movie tile within the row. Click the circle to select the given title, then you can choose to remove it from your Keep Watching section.

The process here is essentially the same as it is on the Paramount+ website. Simply go to your My List section, then scroll down and click the small Edit button next to the Keep Watching row to edit the shows and movies within the carousel.

Will your watching progress be lost if you remove a show from Keep Watching on Paramount+?

Yes, removing a title from your Keep Watching row on Paramount+ will delete your viewing progress. So, if you’re thinking about coming back to that title later on, you might want to think twice about removing it from the row.

Can you hide a show or movie you haven’t watched yet from Paramount+ home screen?

I couldn’t find a way to hide shows or movies from the Paramount+ home screen on any of the platforms I tested. Viewers can use parental controls to edit what kids see on specific Paramount+ profiles, however.
