About Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies
Before rock 'n' roll truly took hold and before the T-Birds established their reign, Rydell High was on the cusp of change. In 1954, four overlooked and underestimated young women decided to challenge the status quo. Tired of the restrictive social norms and expectations placed upon them, they dared to forge their own path and have fun on their own terms. Their actions ignited a moral panic within the school and the wider community. However, this spark of rebellion ignited a movement, forever altering the social fabric of Rydell High and paving the way for future generations to question authority and embrace their individuality. This is the story of how the Pink Ladies were born, and how they left an indelible mark on Rydell High.
