Thanks to his police officer father's efforts, Shawn Spencer spent his childhood developing a keen eye for detail (and a lasting dislike of his dad). Years later, Shawn's frequent tips to the police lead to him being falsely accused of a crime he solved. Now, Shawn has no choice but to use his abilities to perpetuate his cover story: psychic crime-solving powers, all the while dragging his best friend, his dad, and the police along for the ride.

About Psych

Shawn Spencer, thanks to a childhood spent under the tutelage of his police officer father, possesses an uncanny ability to observe the smallest details. However, when his unsolicited tips to the Santa Barbara Police Department lead to accusations of being involved in the crimes, Shawn improvises a solution: he claims to be a psychic. Forced to maintain the ruse, Shawn opens a psychic detective agency, dragging his skeptical best friend, Gus, his exasperated father, Henry, and the equally skeptical police force along for the ride.

The cast is further enriched by Timothy Omundson as Carlton Lassiter, the head detective, and Maggie Lawson as Juliet O'Hara, another detective. Kirsten Nelson plays Chief Karen Vick and Corbin Bernsen as Henry Spencer, Shawn's father, a former police officer whose training shaped Shawn's abilities, completes the main cast, each bringing their unique comedic timing and dramatic skills to the screen.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.

How to get started with ExpressVPN:

- Sign Up: Purchase an ExpressVPN subscription.
- Download: Install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
- Connect: Open the app and connect to a server in the U.S.
- Stream: Log in to your streaming service and enjoy watching your favorite shows securely!
