About Santa Clarita Diet

Joel and Sheila Hammond are your average suburban realtors, until Sheila experiences a rather significant life change: she becomes a zombie. This isn't your typical undead tale; it's a hilariously gory journey as Joel and Sheila navigate the challenges of her new diet, their marriage, and protecting their family, all while trying to keep their suburban life from completely falling apart. Their desperate attempts to secure the necessary ingredients for Sheila's continued existence lead them down a path of death and destruction. This darkly comedic premise is explored with wit and inventiveness.

Cast and Characters

Created by Victor Fresco, Santa Clarita Diet boasts a talented cast. Drew Barrymore shines as Sheila Hammond, a realtor who becomes a zombie, delivering a performance that is both comedic and surprisingly poignant. Timothy Olyphant portrays Joel Hammond, Sheila's supportive and increasingly frantic husband, who is willing to do anything to help her. Liv Hewson plays Abby Hammond, their intelligent and resourceful teenage daughter, who is forced to adapt to her family's unusual circumstances. Skyler Gisondo appears as Eric Bemis, the Hammonds' neighbor and Abby's friend, providing both comic relief and unexpected assistance. Fresco crafts a world that is both absurd and relatable, brought to life by the stellar performances of the lead actors.

How to stream with ExpressVPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an app that encrypts your internet connection and masks your IP address, allowing you to stream securely and bypass restrictions.

Why Use a VPN for Streaming?

- Bypass Geo-Restrictions: Many streaming services are geographically restricted. If you’re traveling outside the U.S., a VPN can make it appear as if you’re still in the country, giving you access to your subscriptions.
- Avoid ISP Throttling: Your internet provider might slow down your connection during high-bandwidth activities like streaming. A VPN encrypts your activity, preventing your ISP from throttling your speeds and ensuring a smooth, buffer-free experience.
- Increase Privacy: A VPN protects your data on non-secure public Wi-Fi networks by creating an encrypted tunnel, safeguarding your personal information while you stream.

How to get started with ExpressVPN:

- Sign Up: Purchase an ExpressVPN subscription.
- Download: Install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
- Connect: Open the app and connect to a server in the U.S.
- Stream: Log in to your streaming service and enjoy watching your favorite shows securely!
