You can stream a day of Sling TV for just $1 for a limited time
To celebrate its court victory over Disney, the streamer is dropping its one-day price for a limited time.
While the option to subscribe to Sling TV for as little as one day was undoubtedly popular amongst cord-cutters who have become used to having to sign up for at least one month to access content from live TV streaming services, others were not as enthusiastic. Two major channel owners filed lawsuits against the streamer, but the first lost its request for an injunction, and to celebrate, Sling is making its single-day subscription pass available for just $1 for a limited time.

In August, Disney filed a lawsuit against Sling in hopes of derailing the newly announced single-day, weekend, and week-long subscription passes. The next month, Warner Bros. Discovery filed its own suit, but earlier this week, a judge denied Disney's injunction, allowing the streamer to continue its revolutionary offerings.
To celebrate the court victory, through Sunday, Nov. 30, Sling is allowing cord-cutters to sign up for service to its Sling Orange base package for any 24-hour period for just $1.
“The court’s decision is a win for consumers and a validation of what Sling stands for,” Sling SVP Seth Van Sickel said. “For too long, traditional ‘big media’ companies have intentionally stifled innovation and forced customers to pay for more content than they want or need. We believe customers deserve the flexibility to stream the content they want, whenever they want it, at a price they can afford. Consumers deserve affordable TV, not bound by long-term contracts or bloated offerings. The $1 Day Pass is our way of saying thank you to the customers we fight for every day.”
One of Sling’s two base subscription options, Sling Orange provides access to A&E, CNN, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, The History Channel, TBS, and TNT, but if that’s not enough, customers are always able to upgrade with the Sports Extra, News Extra, Entertainment Extra, Hollywood Extra, Lifestyle Extra, Heartland Extra and Kids Extra add-ons at their regular $1 per day price.
So, whether you are looking to watch one specific NFL or college football game, the Thanksgiving Day parade, or just need something to occupy friends, family, kids, or any other assortment of houseguests over the holiday weekend, Sling is offering the most cost-efficient way to stream the channels that will keep everybody entertained this month.
