Stream the return of ‘Euphoria,’ new ‘Hacks,’ more this week
Hang onto your hats, TV fans — weeks like this don’t come along often in April.
There are plenty of legitimate gripes about how the takeover of streaming has affected the way viewers watch TV. Streaming without ads is dramatically expensive; it’s hard to tell which streaming services have which shows and movies, etc., are all valid complaints about trying to watch subscription streamers in 2026.
But there is (at least) one good thing about streaming as well: traditional TV schedules have gone out the window. Streaming hits can arrive at any time during the calendar year, and this week is aligning with several debuts of award-winning shows that have huge audiences. Check out the best selections to watch every day this week below!
Something to stream every day this week:

‘Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord’ series premiere | Disney+
The newest animated series from Star Wars focuses on a fan-favorite character who’s proved exceedingly hard to kill. “Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord” focuses on the former Sith apprentice as he retreats from the growing power of the Empire. Maul knows that the Empire is under the control of Darth Sidious, and is filled with rage and a thirst for revenge against his former master.
Determined to rebuild his criminal enterprise, Maul retreats to a world thus far untouched by the Imperial iron glove. There, he meets a disillusioned Jedi Padawan, and soon begins to weave her into his dark designs for vengeance against the Empire.

‘Lucy Worsley Invesigates: The American Revolution’ | PBS, watch with a subscription to DIRECTV
See the American Revolution through a new lens: the eyes of British historian Lucy Worsley. On the eve of America’s 250th birthday, Worsley investigates instances of espionage, sabotage, unrest, and heroism that led to the birth of a new nation and the humiliation of the British Empire.
Lucy Worsley Investigates
Lucy Worsley re-investigates some of the most dramatic chapters in British history. She uncovers forgotten witnesses, re-examines old evidence and follows new clues.
But how did this historic rupture come to pass, and could it have been avoided? Over two episodes, Lucy delves deeper into the American Revolution by examining it from the British perspective, discovering the human drama, radical ideas, and political missteps behind this seismic split, and revealing how losing America changed Britain forever.

‘The Boys’ Season 5 premiere | Prime Video
The ultra-violent, darkly comedic series is coming to an end. Season 5 will be the final dance for “The Boys” — either Homelander or Billy Butcher is going down for good. Odds aren’t looking good for Butcher, as Homelander has the U.S. firmly under his control and rules with a fascistic grip.
Annie is still fighting the good fight, but faces an uphill climb against an army of far-right Supes. Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother’s Milk are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp,” but when Butcher re-emerges with a plan to kill all Supes, he sets the endgame of the series irrevocably in motion.

‘Hacks’ Season 5 premiere | HBO Max
Another day, another show returning for its fifth and final season. “Hacks” Season 4 saw Deborah Vance and her writing partner Ava Daniels flee to Singapore, exploiting a loophole in Deborah’s contract that allows her to perform comedy at a casino there.
But when a false rumor that Deborah is dead makes the rounds, she knows she has to recussitate her legacy. With Ava in tow, Deborah heads back to fabulous Las Vegas to go out in a final blaze of comedic glory where it all began.

‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair’ limited series premiere | Hulu
This may be me allowing my bias to show a little bit. I absolutely loved the original “Malcolm in the Middle” series; I grew up with it, and going back to these characters after such a long time to see what they’re up to delights me. The show picks up with its titular hero several years after he made the decision to cut his chaotic family out of his life.
But when Hal and Lois invite Malcolm to come home and help them celebrate their wedding anniversary with his family, he can’t duck the call. With his girlfriend and daughter along for the adventure, Malcolm can only close his eyes and hope for the best.
