Something to Stream Every Day This Week; ‘Peter and the Wolf,’ New Episodes of ‘Bosch: Legacy’ and ‘Fear the Walking Dead,’ More
From live sports to new episodes of long-running dramas, there’s plenty of new content headed to your favorite streaming platforms this week.
Well, so much for the assumption that a resolution of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike would lead to a quick deal between the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). The top actors’ union in Hollywood resumed negotiations with the AMPTP last week, but talks broke down and no end to the strike is in sight.
For audiences, this unfortunate development likely won’t have much of an affect on their daily viewing yet. Scripted TV is still a long way off from returning to production, as writers are just now getting back to work on new scripts for future seasons. Still, it’s not an encouraging update, and audiences can find solace in the new shows coming to streaming this week if they need a distraction.
