‘Reacher’ and ‘1923’ return, more to stream this week
Robert Eggers’ chilling vampire tale ‘Nosferatu’ contributes to a busy week of new streaming premieres.
I hope you’re all enjoying a relaxing President’s Day! A short week is once again upon us, though I’m forced to sit back and consider why the NFL doesn’t wait an extra week for the Super Bowl so it can let fans have a day off the Monday after the Big Game.
Regardless of whether you’ve got a day off or not for President’s Day, I’ve assembled my usual list of new TV shows and movie premieres coming to streaming each and every day of the week. There are some pretty interesting choices available, so keep reading and see what you can watch on your favorite services!

“The Fox Hollow Murders: Playground of a Serial Killer” premiere | Hulu
In the wealthy suburbs of Indianapolis, husband and father of three Herb Baumeister led a double life - businessman by day, serial killer by night. Throughout the 1990s, he targeted gay men, amassing a victim count possibly surpassing that of Jeffrey Dahmer. This true crime series follows Hamilton County coroner Jeff Jellison as he launches a new investigation decades after thousands of bones were found in the woods behind Baumeister’s stately home.
Through never-before-seen archival footage and new interviews with those central to the story, this new docuseries explores how the murders went undetected and how Baumeister became the most prolific serial killer you’ve ever heard of.

“Win or Lose” series premiere | Disney+
Pixar’s first original series follows intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game. The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character - the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, and even a lovesick umpire - with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives.
The first original TV series ever produced by Pixar is big news, even though it scrubbed a planned storyline featuring a trans character. That has viewers concerned about Disney’s commitment to character diversity, but “Win or Lose” will likely draw the curiosity of audiences regardless.

“1923” Season 2 premiere | Paramount+
Taylor Sheridan’s “1923” acquaints viewers with a Dutton family far different than the one they’ve come to know in “Yellowstone.” It follows Jacob and Clara Dutton, who are trying to scrape out a living in the midst of the onset of the Great Depression, with nothing but a small ranch to their name.
In the second season of “1923,” a cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob and Cara back at Dutton Ranch.
